Need help on drive line
I have a 2000 vette and got a click noise when shift from drive to reverse. sounds like u joint to me but cant find any online. do they have a different set up,

They have a torque tube. It bolts up to the bellhousing, and then to the transmission in the rear.

It could be coming from your Half shafts. The shafts going from the rear end to the wheel. You also might want to check your wheel bearings.

Sounds like the splines inside the rear wheel bearings where the bearing assembly contacts the outer ends of the axle assembly.
Remove wheel, remove axle nut, squirt some PB Blaster or Kroil inside all around the axle splines. The penetrant needs to get between the bearing hub assembly's backside and the end of the axle.
Re-install and torque the axle nut, etc.
