Updated Pics Avic D3 Amp Sub Install
I recently installed a new amp and subwoofer to y new system and it was the missing link, it sounds great, that base added to the stock bose was all i needed. The amp was a Kenwwod KAC 8104D 1000W mono, the sub was a Kenwood KFCXW1200f shallow series, and i also added an external dvd player into the AV inputs so the nav disc doesnt have to come out at all. I built a sub box using the dimensions i got from a CF member they were a perfect fit, if you want the dimensions i can email them to you PM me. I also built a amp cover to close in the amp and all the wiring it really cleans things up, i took it to a local shop and had it covered in black vynal and it looks great($150.00) if anyone has any questions concerning this install PM me Thanks again Brian(C5KIDD) and all the help from the CF

I also added 2 small fans to the top of the amp cover to keep things cool and added an IPOD that my son bought me
By the way i didnt include a pic of the sub covered by the stock compartment cover but it fits right over the speaker and allows you to use the trunk without damaging the speaker.
