Default E-Bay vendor issues

I ordered the Vredestien tires from the GT1 guy on e-bay on the 10th. I was told they would ship right out. I finnally got a shipping verification today. It is because they didn't ship until today. I have e-mailed this guy every day trying to get information about when they would arrive. Not only are they not comming from him, come to find out, there was only two of the 4 tires shipped. After waiting all day he e-mailed me back and said the 18's were comming from Vredestien and shipped last week. Aren't they in Europe somewhere? I have still been unalbe to get a reply on any type for confirmation method to verify this. This GT1 guy is elusive and very hard to communicate with once you pay. If he just said I am out of them I could have gone elsewhere. I would noy use this guy!

I should have just let Tomz take my money and ordered them. At leased they give honest answers and you can just call them. They did not have any when I called and all the ones on order were sold. I will know next time!

Had mine from Tomz in four work days.

Sorry your experience on ebay did not go as smooth.

I understand your pain. I currently have an issue of a car part for my truck.

this is becoming increasingly common on eBay where the seller doesn't have the item for sale. he/she orders from their supplier when the item sells, thus the delay. I always ask if the item is on hand, ready to ship. if they affirm I will bid/buy. no reply tells me they don't and I pass.

I would not except the 2 tires that are comming and ask for a full refund, If he doesn't give you a full refund contact your CC company and file a claim. I would tell the seller that 2 tires doesn't do you any good at all. and then find a good seller on the Bay and as someone already said, Ask if tires are on have and make sure they have good feedback. You can also file with Paypal as long as the ad doesn't state that the tires are a pre order.

I'm irritated with ebay and paypal right now. I bought a camera on the 11th of March and payed with paypal. As far as I know the camera has not shipped. It was a pricey camera but I'm guessing not as much as your tires.

Sorry for you trouble and my whining. I hope you get your tires soon.

I was told tires were in stock and would ship as soon as pay pal payment was recieved. Did not hear back from him for 3 days. My buddy is an lawer and says this is theft by deception and that I should file charges against him. The eveidence is in the emails saying he had them in stock then, another email saying supplier was shippng them since he didn't have them in stock, and yet another email saying the manufacturer was shipping 2 of them because the supplier didn't have them. That =s not in stock and lieing to get paid. Then there is a whole interstate thing being that he is Az. That makes it a federal thing possably. I will keep yall posted

I hear you

I'm having similar issues with another well known vendor right now. All it takes is the odd e mail to keep us in the picture and we'd be happy. Customer Service is an art not a science.

I think that anytime you purchase something on fleabay your taking a gamble if you'll recieve it. So far I myself have'nt been burned but I know people who have.

Dang dude, that sucks. When my brother saw my Vreds and wanted a set for his Impala, we tried Tomz again (where mine came from) but he didn't have the Impala sizes so we briefly considered ebay and saw the tires from that GT1 guy. But something didn't seem right and so my brother actually went with different sizes so that he could order from Tomz anyway. Got his tires in three days. After reading about your experience, I'm really glad we went with Tomz. I hope you can find a way to rake this guy over the coals!

Yeah good luck with that...

Filing a dispute with eeeek bay and Igotpaid Pal is like peeing your pants... gives you a warm feeling, then a rash!!! They make thier money up front on both ends of the deal and dont care if you get your money or product!!! Ask me How I know!! Always use your credit card never your checking account! the CC Company is the only one there to help you
