Default We Were Almost There......

Here in south central Minnesota, the snow had just melted, and all of the winter chemicals were just about off of the roads. I actually saw a few Vettes out on the road over the past couple of days. I intended to make my innaugural drive of the season this weekend. But then this morning, it is snowing like crazy and the forecast is for 6-12 inches of snow across the area. It is like having to start all over again. Come on Spring!!! Oh well, have a happy and joyous Easter, especially those of you who are back playing the waiting game.

Here in S.E. Wisconsin, it cleared up (no snow), got enough rain to get most of the salt off the roads, and I got to drive the vette twice.

Snow today, 6-10 inches. Damn this winter won't give up. At least it cleared enough this week to allow me to get new tires on the 95 vert.

Visibility is about 1/4 of a mile in Northern Illinois and it's really coming down. They're predicting 9"-12" for us. Will it ever end? I'm so tired of this crap. Anyone in a warmer climate looking for a pool boy?

In the Brainerd Lakes Area we only had about 2 inches or so, but the result is the same. Another weekend that I can only sit in the garage with a libation. Time to think about moving south.

I'm so tired of snow this year I could just spit. Spring and summer months cruising around the lakes here in central Minnesota is fantastic. But winters get awfully long.
Picking up our first C5 next Thursday. Looking forward to a few days away from the cold.

I had the day off today and took the Vert out for a drive. Lots of Vettes on the road, and it definitely felt good.

Very nice spring weather here today, 63 degrees and sunny. But return to colder tomorrow with a chance of flurries. I'm ready for better weather and soon.
