Happy easter all. Went out today and started my vette {2001 z06} and rolled down window. Shortly after i rolled it back up and now it wont move up or down. Passanger side is fine so i assume its not a fuse. Any input would be helpfull. ty
Does the passenger side work if you use the drivers controls or only when you use the passenger control? Did you check to see if there any codes?

Looked at the codes... Try this .
open the drivers door, look for the accordion tube that wires from the door to the pillar are. Pull both ends out to from door and pillar. Once removed pull the wire bundle from the door pillar. There should be a plug. Disconnect the plug. check for a dirty connector, re connect and try the door controls, push the bundle back in the pillar replace the accordion. let me know if it helped. Bill
PS make sure that the battery if fully charged, you didn't mention how long since you last started the car of if it was on a battery tender.

sounds good bill, i will try that when i get back from easter dinner. The car has only been sittting a day and the battery is only 3 months old.Enjoy your easter and i will let you know how i made out . ty
tried removing the tube that contains the wires but didnt feel comfortable unpluging the wires because they seem to go into the door pretty far. They looked brand new as the car only has 14k miles on it. Would the car throw a code if the regulator went bad? Also if the wires were loose or dirty wouldnt that effect all the controls on the door, because all the others work ?
There's plenty of wire to pull the plug out of the pillar, In the photo you'll see a wire with a clear tube around it, that's a drain so water doesn't flood the speaker in the door. If water got into the plug one of the wires could be the problem. I'd at least unplug and plug in again to see if that worked. Inspect both sides of the plug for any signs of a loose wire.
