Default Chrome BSM's Question

Has anyone seen these done on a chrome finish?

I know they are not metal but Eastwood and I assume others have a paint system that might work to simulate plastic chrome these.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Sorry. Color would make a huge diff.... Mine is Silver Metalic. Looking at a bit of a retro look.

Since several of the new Chevrolet vehicles have chrome body side moldings I thought it would be interesting.

JETZ I like the picture but it it a bit over the top. If the question is that bad please disregard. I have BSM's that I purchased from a member here and need to paint them to match. I like the chrome spears that are available but want to look at some options. I don't spend my day on the forum but as I look back I see that there are several who apparently have more time than ......

Anyway, it's just life .... not too serious! Heck, I am raising two kids by myself .... Now that is stressful.

Hey, you asked for opinions. As Deegee said, regular BSM questions get quite a reaction.
My vote would be for no.
Post up if you do though, and remember, it's your car, do as you like.

They would only look good as long as you have the 28" wire wheels and chrome curb feelers too.

Only one person you need to please with your mods. That would be YOU Mod your car to YOUR TASTES, the rest of us mean nothing so far as your car is concerned.
We will all offer our opinions but it will always revert back to YOU. Enjoy your car, mods, and the kids.

I think I was looking for some ideas on how to get the pieces plastic chromed not what they would look like or if others liked them. Like I said, not a big deal at all. I will learn in time.

Owning a corvette and their owners is/are new for me.....

No biggie. Liked the picture just thought it was a bit out of place. Reminded me of my youngest. Sorry.

I have contacted a couple of plastic chrome places but the prices are crazy. Anyone used Eastwoods chrome paint system? I have used their other products and have wonderful succes. Was just wondering.

Could I have picked a worse subject. I sure didn't realize.

Default Early 1968 Luggage Racks

Just a comment. On many early 1968's the dealers installed left over 1967 racks. My Vette with an F16 build date has one. I bought the car in May 1970 and the original owner told me it was dealer installed when new. I've also seen this occasionally on other '68s. It has four mounting bolts instead of six.
