All of a sudden my right side window won't work. Mine's a 2004 and almost 4 years old. Any electrical fuses/circuit breakers to check? I have the extended warranty so if I can't fix via a simple fuse it's going to the dealers.
Thanks in advance.
If you can hear the relay click when you push the button, but the window does not even try to move, you will probably need to have the window regulator assembly replaced.
They can just quit without warning.
I have already replaced both regulators on my 04.
Sometimes you can get them to work awhile by tapping on the motor, but once they mess up, you can save aggrivation by just having it replaced.
I preferred to do it myself, but GM did pay for the part.
My passenger side window stopped working on my 04 vert a couple of weeks ago. I have been waiting for a good time to take it to the dealer to fix (under warranty). Washed my car this past weekend, and poof!! it started working. Didn't do anything I haven't done for the past couple of weeks, except wash it. I expect this to be temporary, but it has worked for the past 4 days.
Thanks guys, a sharp rap on the lower door while pressing the button worked. The window A-OK for now. I think gold plated contacts would solve the resistance issue.
