I looked up the seat codes for the 2000 model year and the only two I found were:
AQ9 Sport Seats (Req AG2) $700
AR9 Bucket-Leather Trimmed Seating Surface $0
I have Mike Yeager's Corvette Bible at home, I'll have to check out the pic you mentioned. It looks like there was no "Z06 seat option" ...Commemorative or otherwise...for the 2000 model year. It could be a case of pictures just being displayed in the wrong place since 2001 was the first model year of the Z06...It's quite possible the pictures in the books you mention were inadvertatly placed on the wrong page since most of those books are arranged by model year. It would be easy for the publishers to put pics of a 2001 Z06 onto a page for the 2000 model year.

Thanks, When I get home from work tonight, I will post the exact page number. In the meantime, look in the pages with the 2000 model year. There is a small blurry picture I am referring to in this section.

I just looked on page 254 and you are correct. There is a Z06 with the Z06 seats in it....It is a mistake...On the opposite page they said CR-5 engine when it should have said C5-R.....

Yep, that is the page. There was another book at the BAM bookstore with a 2000 Corvette with Z06 seats. When I went back to get the title, they had just rearranged the shelves and I have not had the time to figure out which book it was.
So, Mike Yager and Tom Collins, do you have anything to say about this???
