I live in Alaska... bought a C5Z in January in Los Angeles. I left it down there for a few months in the care of my dad, and was able to fly back every few weeks to drive it and have some fun. I put 3000 miles on it across three 8-day trips to L.A. between Jan. and last week.
On Friday, the last of those trips culminated with me driving to Seattle to deliver the car to a carrier to get it to Alaska. It should hopefully be here by April 11... just twelve days. But damn... I only dropped it off two days ago and this is by far the worst absence from my car yet!
How will I survive?!?
to make matters worse, I saw a bright, shiny EB C5 coupe on my way home yesterday. I'm sure he took it for a ride just to mock me.
twelve days... feels like an eternity. especially when you know it's on a slow barge, s-l-o-w-l-y making its way north. Don't they have afterburners on those things???
I feel for you man. The wife and I just left Elmendorf last June. I was excited to move and have my vettes back when we got to our new home in Phoenix. Once I got there, I deployed to Iraq. I have been having withdrawals for the past few months. Dont worry, she will be safe and with you soon enough.
