Hi There,
On any GMPP renewal on a car older than 2005 the minimun deductible is $100 & not zero. I would buy the GMPP as some of the modules cost over $3000 alone.Been there & did it.

Got my beautiful 2004 Vert out yesterday (first day of insurance for this year), drove it to work to get the oil changed, got stuck in a group of vehicles going onto the interstate and a d__n UPS truck nailed my windshield. $1800 later for a windshield, talk about sick to my stomach.
Man that sucks. Happened to me too. It took safelite 4 windshields to get a good one installed correctly. Be sure they replace the side pieces with new ones.
So after the repairs GMPP covered, your out $445 for 4 yrs coverage. That's $111/yr, which is nothing. The peace of mind is worth more than that. Plus, the car's not getting any younger, and the miles are adding up. I'd say buy the warranty, no question!
Can you purchase GMPP or some kind of GM warranty if the factory warranty is expired? I wasn't offered a warranty program at all when I bought my 2000 last month at a Honda dealer.
HI There,Texas vett,
Sorry to say once your gm warrenty has expired you are finished.
Their are other warrenty options like Warrenty Direct or others. Not sure how good they are at pay out time.Post it up on this site to find out who the good ones are. Some of the vette control modules cost $3000.

I bought mine from Dennis, have not used it yet, but that doesn't mean I won't need it tomorrow. An 04 good through 2012 ,great bargaining chip if you do decide to sell.
