Help with hard wiring TomTom One GPS
My girlfriend bought me a TomTom one for my birthday for when I travel. I was thinking about buying an extra suction cup thing and charger and hard wiring the other charger into my Vette since the outlet is dead center which would make me have wires all over the place. My goal is to wire the GPS through the steering column or something and place it in the left corder of the windshield instead of the center and in the way.
I am thinking about buying this. Can I somehow hard wire this?

Just get a regular TT power cable with a cig adapter on it.
Either use a female cig adapter and run it's wires to the V source or open up the male cig adapter and tap off it's power and ground wires and run these to the V source.
Done this many times with cell phone chargers

If it has a Cig adapter then it should be easy to find the 12v + and - inside the cig adapter.........but it would be easier to use a Cig female adapter that is wired up to your 12v source and just plug the male Cig adapter into this female port behind the dash/console or whereever
