shipping wheels/tires ?
How are you shipping a set of tires mounted on wheels?
I just called fedex and he had some crazy price. I told him aprox 200 lbs.

Cheapest way is by bus - yes - just about every busline out there offers a freight service and it's way cheaper than the UPS and FedEx's. Try Greyhound or any other line that's local to you....

I have shipped UPS a couple of times. I put cardboard cut in a circle over the wheel then wrap it all in plastic wrap like they use to wrap a pallet of boxes. the more layers the better I have always thought. Anyway I have not had a complain of any damage so far.

I shipped a set of wheels/tires to Florida via Fedex ground for $150.
Bubble wrap over the wheels, then a piece of cardboard over the wheels, then shrink wrap the entire wheel/tire heavily.
