If you want cheap here is what I would do. You would have to do all the labor yourself.

Vararam: $300
Ported TB: $150
LS6 Intake: $350
Ebay HEaders: $600
Tune: $250

Total: $1,650

This should put you into the low twelves on street tires pretty consistently.

But... I would change the headers to Texas Speed and Performance headers with the x-pipe. It's all bolt on so you can do it on your own.

And I would lose the ported TB. Doesn't really help.

If we're really on the cheap, forsake the Vararam as well. Just cut a giant hole in the front of your factory air cleaner to start moving some air. That will flow as much air as a Vararam, just doesn't have the ramming effect.

True I hear you on that, but I would prob still get the vararam and not the TSP longtubes. Too many stories about how much of a PITA they are to install. SSAC is going to be releasing their third generation headers for us very very soon, which will get rid of the need of welding. A guy at the track had the second gens on his car for a year or so, and he said he likes them. He was also running 11.40's so obviously they work in my book.

Seriously, since you already have the CAI and a different muffler, I would get some headers and x-pipe next.
I installed the hp gaining hood seal 2 days ago. What a difference in performance. Maybe I could double the hp gain by putting on 2 of them.
