If it was me I would not buy an aftermarket one, I would just get on fleabay and purchase an 01-04 MAF that is what I did and works just great on your model Vette had mine on for 13k now
and im not sure where it is...is it where the air filter of the blackwing then it goes to mass air flow housing then to the intake manifold correct...when u buy a blackwing does it come with a MAH for blackwing or is it still the stock vette

Dont waste your money on an aftermarket MAF. You gain, if your lucky, at most 1-2hp from an aftermarket MAF.
The stock MAF will hook directly up to the blackwing. It will be the blackwing, MAF, air bridge, throttle body, then intake.
Why do you want to buy a new MAF sensor? Is there something wrong with the one on the car now? If not, don't waste your money on another one or an aftermarket one. You will not notice any gain in HP and you could possibly cause it to run worse
As for all of the people who don't agree with this mod I still have yet to see ONE person that ACTUALLY bought it and installed it and had problems. I am not saying it isn't possible but no one on here yet.
As for the mod I think it is worth trying just for a couple of reasons.
One being the the same old saying is true ..More Air= More Power. This would eliminate at least one bottleneck and the claims that it will flow over 1000cfm vs stock six hundred and something.
Two...If it doesn't work....Simply install your MAF sensor back into the original housing and wow...You are out of 30 or 40 dollars. I don't see any reason why it could possibly hurt.
I know there has been discussion about the screen removal of a MAF sensor...I understand that the fins route the proper air flow over the sensor so maybe this could be some kind of a problem to look into.
I would love to hear how it goes for you and goodluck!!
