Just noticed on my way to work this morning that the mirrors were not auto dimming and that the driver and passanger sunshade light were not working either. Any idea what could be going on? I'm not very mechanically inclined. Electrical isn't my forte either.
Maybe I should note that I've been having a problem with my driver side door not locking with either the remote or the door lock button. Passanger side is fine.
Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'd guess it's a fuse which should be located in the passenger side footwell. If you look on the inside of the cover of the fuse block, there is a legend that describes all the fuses - from my feeble memory it's a 10a fuse.
If you have an aftermarket mirror, look for a small in-line fuse in the harness, probably neat the foot well fuse block. Otherwise, check associated fuses w/ a test light. A cheap one from any auto parts store will work. (They look like an ice pick w/ a wire and alligator clip attached to the end. Just hook the alligator clip to any good ground. Easy test!
the door locking issue is most likely a faulty door control module. it's the black box underneath the door panel.
i had to replace mine when my passenger door would not lock via the fob or button. i got mine from a parts car here on the forum, but you can buy them new from gene@gmpartshouse.com
