Dumb question, but thought I would ask
My friend who has a C5 Z06 and I with my 89 C4 were talking about Vettes today. He always referred to his as a Z-Zero-6 Corvette. I have always referred to them as a Z-O-6 Corvette. What do you all call them?

Might be the correct way, but I've never known anyone to say "z-zero-six". Z-oh-six is all I have ever heard other than brits who say "zed-oh-six".

Memory...
That question reminds me of the first time I took a friend of mine to McDonald's (back in 1965 or so).
He looked up at the menu board and told the lady he wanted
a Fillet-Zero-Fish sandwich.
Cracked her up.

100%
Just like if you have a 402 motor... you call it a four-oh-two. Not correct but who ever called it a four-zero-two?

The only time a zero should be used in connection with a Vette is when you're talking zero-to-sixty. Maybe they should rename it to Z 060

Most people say thay have a motor in the Vette.
An engine whose purpose is to produce kinetic energy output from a fuel source is called a prime mover; alternatively, a motor is a device which produces kinetic energy from a preprocessed "fuel" (such as electricity, a flow of hydraulic fluid or compressed air).

Z-zero-6,
thankfully most people refer to it as the big "O".

I was always told the 0 (zero) is a number and O (oh) is a letter ---
But I have never heard it referred to as a Z-Zero-6 ---
Just my .02¢
