A Procharger, Vortech, etc., will not only put out more power, it will have not sacrifice one ounce of drivability. It's easy to install yourself, and you can always remove it and return the car back to stock.
On the other handde, the factory cast pistons can be fragile with FI, whereas you wouldn't have to worry about that with h/c. H/C would also be cheaper if you do it yourself, and you can get a nice lopey cam (although I think the blower's whistle sounds better).

I have a friend that owns both - a 2004 Z with heads, cam, intake and a 2003 Z with a Procharger. Guess which one he likes the best.............the H/C/I Z06. As a matter of fact, I think he'll be putting the 03 up for sale soon.
