I dunno, must be I'm terminally unique. Just put on a brand new set of Goodyear EMT's and they ride quiet and smooth as a baby's butt. ANY tire gets harder with age.............I run between 28 and 29 Cold in the summer, set the camber to -0- and remain a happy camper No roadnoise as all I hear are the ARH's and Corsa Indys
I'm far from a flag-waver IMO, however ..........
Goodyear has chosen to build their new World Headquarters right here in Northeastern Ohio while many manufacturers are running to Mexico and various foreign countries while many whine about our U.S.economy? I have to hang with Goodyear as I applaud their commitment to THIS country
I've stayed with the OEM's and never perceived any noise issues although I don't have any other brands to compare to.
I heard the Michelin's are not as wide as the Goodyear's,is this true? As far as the 50 miles vs the 200 miles....I guess as long as you are not driving through the desert you should be ok....I like American too but I have Michelin's on my other two cars.....they are good tires, what can you say right?
"Michelin® tires are manufactured in four states: Alabama, Oklahoma, North Carolina and South Carolina. In addition, there are three plants in Canada (Nova Scotia) and one plant in Queretaro, Mexico."
