I was on the highway and drove through an area where someone had spilled some paint.
It resulted in what looks like light over-spray of paint in the wheel wheels and on the bottom of the car along the doors, much like when you get dirt & grim splashed up when you pass through a puddle of water.
I was going to use the clay bar from Zanio but was wondering if there is something else I might use that may be a little easier but but not harm the paint job on the vette.
I feel safe with the clay bar on the paint and it probably would work, but the wheel wells could probably withstand something simple that wipes on and off.
Denaturedalcohol will not harm your paint...followed up with a clay bar. I've used this manner to remove enamel pin striping paint on several occasions w/o harm to base coat/clear coat.
If the paint was water based, use water as your first plan of attack. Mineral spirits/turpentine might also be an option, but test on paint first in an inconspicuous area.
If the paint was the type used on roadway stripes, be careful, it's silica based and scraping anything across it might do harm to paint.

For cleaning inside the wheel wells I have used simple green and a brush for normal cleaning and for paint splatter like you listed I have used the simple green with a steel wool pad, worked great.
