When I received my ACS spoiler there was a sheet of paper in the box that gave you information on a 3M product to use if you wanted to blend the edge of the spoiler into the rear fascia. When I install the spoiler I thought to myself "I never do that" so i through the sheet of paper away. Well now I have decided to have the car painted and I would like the blend the spoiler in. So does anyone know what that 3M product is?
I bought a little can with a brush at a paint store. It's a 3m product that just primes the surface and makes the tape stick like a sumbitch. Mine has been whacked pretty hard by my dumbass buddy who thought it'd be funny if he could knock it loose. He couldn't. Be very careful, though. THis stuff is very watery, and will leave a clear run on your paint that could be prevented with care. Don't ask me how I know.
