02' problems?
This is a common ocurrance with the newer high lift cam that was introduced in the '02 model year for the 405 hp LS6. Higher lift, lighter valves , increased valve spring pressure. Opps , late '03 production bought out the introduction of the LS2 springs to stop the problem.
So goes the stigma of the broken valve springs for 2002-2003 Zs.http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...=valve+springshttp://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...n+valve+springhttp://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...post1565072330

interesting; I've never heard of it.
But there is a specific C5 section dedicated to the Z06; and since I don't have one I never venture in to that section. I doubt the failure-to-mention was due to some secretive scheme.
That's kinda funny, I'm trying to remember if I have had any problems other than not driving it enough
