hope he/she is new. I remember when I first got mine. I was driving around Central Fla. and all these people, in other Vetts were waving to me, enen across 4 lanes of traffic! I figured that someone pretty popular had the same car as mine LOL. But I waved back any way to be nice. It's almost common cortousie (sp). Nothing wrong with giving a wave, even if it's to a mini van.
Our society has become very strange!
You're doing your part to keep the tradition alive. Good for you!
If they choose not to participate, they lose out by not being a part of the Corvette community. IMHO.
I wave at every vette I see, but then I realize they can't see me waving because my windows are heavily tinted. I'm sure they probably think I'm one of those non-waving schmucks!
I've gotten many waves as of late, but there is the lady in a black C4 that I see every morning on the way to work that won't even look my direction. She has to pass me, so I know she sees my car.
i have always considered women exempt from the wave, and from backing into parking spots..I tell my g/f never back in to a parking spot, I like my exhaust
I also tell her the wave is optional for her..however, I always wave.
Passed a silver C6 and a black C6 today... no wave. This has become a common theme as of late.
Lots of uninformed owners. 2 to 1 they dont drive around with sore jaws from all the the **** eating grinning we do either. It's a fact of life, just enjoy it and wave your *** off!!! Never got a ticket for waving ...
