I had an incident with another car, not a dog but it was real small. I needed the front bumper repainted and I thought I would be good. I paid over $500 and realized I may have over paid. I think you can get a good paint job for 300-500 though. The thing is when they sanded down the paint they saw cracks that didn't show up with the original paint there. The cracks were under the paint. When the repainted the cracks show up as spider web cracking in the new paint. At first it was light but now it's showing more and more. I should have just gotten a new front bumper whether a Tiger Shark or stock, it would have been better in the long run. Now I spent $500 to get it painted and will eventually need to spend more money on a bumper and paint again.
Best of luck with yours. Maybe that dog wasn't as bad as another vehicle.
Sounds like he's more concerned with his Vette than the dog. Good thing it wasn't a little kid. I can imagine the title to that post. "Guys I hit a kid on a tricycle. How much for the Tigershark including paint?" Kidding of course...

No broken plastic? Maybe just pull nose, replace foam and prep and paint... make sure the estimate includes checking out material behind cover.
Doggy should have been on a leash. Owner should feel terrible. Vette owner may feel bad about dog, but should be mad at lousy owner of dog. No reason for Dog/C5 incident - such a shame.
Good luck with repairs... punch dog owner in nose (just kidding).
