Has anyone used the 12000 Rhino ramps on a c5 z06? I am concerned about angle as to whether or not the car will bottom out due to the angle. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Joel
Place a doormat under the rear (beneath the cradle part) of each to prevent sliding, but yes if you have not lowered your car, they will work. The lip of your Z will scrape a bit, but that's nothing to worry about.
I use four of them. Your front side spoilers will rub, but they are flexible, no damage.
I drive up on the front ramps and jack up the rear to place them under rear ties (facing backwards for safety). A cheap man's lift, great for checking and filling trans and diff, since car is level. Car is safer than on jackstands.
I have a set of plans in WORD format that allows you to build your own ramps for a fraction of the cost of the Rhinos. I built and use them and they work great. A bit heavy but they only cost about $30 in materials.
I got 3 foot pieces of 2x6 (1 on each ramp) that i place about 1/3 of the way up the ramp to get the car moving upwards. Nothing rubs this way and you can make sure the ramps are even if you start the wood touching the tire on both sides
I recently bought Race Ramps and used them last weekend for the first time. Worked like a charm. My son drove his lowered Trans Am up on them with no problem either. Glad that I bought the Race Ramps.

I place the 2x4's just in front of the ramps.... works like a charm
Didn't work for me (I don't care for the air dam dragging if I can help it), nor did the standard Race Ramps. So I bought a Kwik Lift and am way happier anyway.
Works fine for my C5 . I tie a rope to the hole, run a closeline eight feet back and tape it down. That way the back tire holds the ramp and keeps it from slipping as the front tire goes up.
