You could try to re-program it again ..but.. You are at the end of the life span for your gen 1 sensors. If on has gone south the others may not be far behind. The Generation 1 ( 97 to 00) sensors are around $85.'s each.

You might try resetting the Tire Pressure Sensors (See below.) However, if it is the original sensor, the battery in it is most likely nearing the end of its life cycle and you may need to replace the sensor.

Probably the sensor battery died. Are they the original '98 sensors? If so, then you probably have a low battery. You can try reprogramming them also.
