Default shift light mounting

im stuck on not cutting or drilling any part of my interior (i butchered my LT1 camaro's interior in high school with switches and wished i hadnt) and i cant find a place where my shiftlight will stay for a long period of time.

I tried using 3M velcro and it held for about a month before falling off, i alcoholed it down and used new 3M velcro and it lasted about the same length. (i put it on the plastic panel where your right knee would be under the steering wheel)

If any one has a good spot where it will stay, please help me out

-thanks in advance

I have a Raptor Shift Light installed on the drivers side pillar at eye level. The Raptor came with a little holding bracket where one side of it fit between the platic of the pillar and the windshield (kind of like a hook) and the rest of the bracket provides a base for the light and is held tight to the pillar with zero glue.

Not sure what kind you have but maybe posting a picture would help with ideas for you?

I'm thinking of mounting mine behind the vents in the dash. Not sure if I will commit to it though.

Put mine on the A-pillar below the WB gauge using a custom-machined mount I designed and an Autometer gauge pod.
