Ha! You mean document my husband cussing and screaming! Actually when he took his father's to a place to do his, he did 50% of the work and it turned out great.
I will make sure to document though and then post the pics online!

This is the stripe I have on my Black Coupe. Although, I did not put it on the roof (only have the glass panel). The stripe I have is in dark charcoal color.

I think that the fender stripe would be too much...IMHO. The other looks good...Do you have to remove the emblems to install, or does it have a cut out?

I think it's a cut out, I dont remember my husband complaining about that when he helped put my father-in-laws on.

Those new stripes will look awesome and put on the fender stripes and if you do not like them take them off

I have the same stripe on a black C-5 but with a 1/4 in. red border,sets off the color combo perfect.

I'd vote for skipping the fender, but he's right, you can always take it off if it's too much.
If it was me, I would do the roof last to see if you like it without the stripe there.

Thanks everyone for your opinions! Still not sure what we will do with the fenders...but we have a little time to think about it.
Ok, our next mod is an exhaust. Know any reasonably priced exhausts that are good? My husband likes Borla, but I don't want our car to look almost identical to his father and mother's black Z. Thanks!

Nice pics !! Looks like the whole family has Vette's. The new strips look great. I have often wondered what a Mag Red vert would look like with stripes. I won't go into preferred exhaust as that is a very personal decision and most everyone really likes the brand they have.

Do you have a pic? That sounds really nice! We are trying to stay away from red because that is his dad's "thing". We don't want to copy, let me rephrase that, I don't want to copy. I want us to be original.

Yeah, his parents have a Z and his sister has a 97 white coupe. My husband got my hooked on them. We started out with a 1991 vette for him and then I bought a 78 which we LOVED! But that baby needed more money into than we could afford, so we traded her in for the Z and recently traded the 91 in for a Fusion for me. I really want a C5 or C6 yellow coupe sometime in the near future before the babies start popping out

what is a 3M mask?

The 3M mask is a clear plastic protective covering over the front nose and bumper. Also behind the wheel wells to prevent rock chips and on the painted side or front of the side mirrors. Cost ~$800 installed. Bought the car with it last year.
