He loved the total butt-package...the car's, not mine, you pervs.

Then, on the way back I caught up with a yellow vert with the same old boring ....yawn......zzzzzzzzz ...... oval tips with the C-5 badge exhaust plate....gee...never saw that before!

Sorry...just couldn't resist.....love ya'll anyway...

And thanks for the support....

Since you asked, I don't care for the tips or the flames. It's the equivalent of getting a tatoo for your Vette. Kind of cheapens it.

Hey, it is your car. Enjoy 'your' way.

Some of the guys have mentioned adding LED's, that could be cool.

I have the same kind of neighbors, I feel your pain.

Hey the oval tips matches the oval lens for the rear lights. I think on C6 they are round again to match those lens.

Now that I have had a second look, the flames look pretty good. How about the flames pointing down instead of up? Just a thought.

You have a good attitude! The mods that you have done don’t look bad, and yes they are different, which is good. I never could stand the cookie cutter look, For example where all the Harleys at bike week look like the same, until you start looking through a magnifying glass for subtle differences. I used to build bikes , that’s why I used that illustration. There are some folks on here who really believe that if change anything on the outside of a corvette, then you have committed the unpardonable sin. Most think that if you have changed the wheels then you are really on the cutting edge.

Dang, wish I would have tried that....might have been better yet. But that 3M adhesive isn't letting loose anytime soon!

Maybe....just maybe it would help to remind all what my old tips looked like. It had these tips on the Flowmasters when I bought it and I didn't want to spend the cash to replace the entire system....partly because I loved the sound.

So, tip-wise, I went from this invisible set up:

To this:

Sure, I can appreciate the lack of appreciation from some folks, it's okay, but for what I had before, it's a helluva improvement. And the pipes are so close together, I didn't think I had a lot of other tip options.

I had some other ideas for a plate but ran across this and gave it a try. Kinda got impatient since I was going on a road trip leaving that Friday.

It won't be like this forever. But for now, I'm still proud to call it mine.
