Yeehaw....I'm totally vindicated....Drove down to Virginia City Nevada and points SouthWest....had a Corvette Fan offer his opinion without asking.
He loved the total butt-package...the car's, not mine, you pervs.
Then, on the way back I caught up with a yellow vert with the same old boring ....yawn......zzzzzzzzz ...... oval tips with the C-5 badge exhaust plate....gee...never saw that before!

You have a good attitude! The mods that you have done don’t look bad, and yes they are different, which is good. I never could stand the cookie cutter look, For example where all the Harleys at bike week look like the same, until you start looking through a magnifying glass for subtle differences. I used to build bikes , that’s why I used that illustration. There are some folks on here who really believe that if change anything on the outside of a corvette, then you have committed the unpardonable sin. Most think that if you have changed the wheels then you are really on the cutting edge.

Sure, I can appreciate the lack of appreciation from some folks, it's okay, but for what I had before, it's a helluva improvement. And the pipes are so close together, I didn't think I had a lot of other tip options.
I had some other ideas for a plate but ran across this and gave it a try. Kinda got impatient since I was going on a road trip leaving that Friday.
It won't be like this forever. But for now, I'm still proud to call it mine.
