I adjusted my fog lights last night and took it for a test ride. Went to 7-11, came out and tried to start the car, but it was totally dead. I checked the fuses and the fog light fuse was very hot. I think I may have a short somewhere with the fog lights. The power finally came back on and I drove it home, but the same thing happened in the driveway. ended up pushing it in the garage for the night and woke up today to find the vette still dead. Any troubleshooting suggestions or knowledge to pin point the problem would be very helpful. thanks
Ill check it out but I dont think thats the problem. Ive never had this kind of problem before until i adjusted the fog lights and the fog light fuse was overly hot so I think I might have a short somewhere. but ill check it out
checked everything out, one of the wires from the fog lights was exposed and creating a short, that didnt work so I did the battery terminals and the power flicked back on. thanks for the help
