Nice machine work
Went to the car show at Scottsdale, Az Pavillion's Sat. It was 1st Sat of the month & therefore Corvette nite.
The normal "lot full of beautiful Vettes" kind of nite. But I saw this one gentleman's 2003, 50th Ann. vert. He had hood up & door propped open with a "show bar" He is a master tool & die maker, retired. Take a look at some of his handiwork w/stainless steel custom pieces for his car. He machined all of these pieces out of stainless steel blanks on a CNC machine he has at home, then polished & painted the relief's.

He said it took 34 hrs alone to do the cowl piece for pass comp air intake. His workmanship is just great. I wish I had the knowledge, tools & skill to do stuff like this. He also had a cutom exhaust plate in the same style that he did. Hope you guys like seeing this stuff.

My thoughts exactly.I'm trying to get my house sold so I can move back down to Phoenix. Grew up there. Spent many a Saturday night as a teenager at the Pavillions drooling over hot cars I couldn't afford. Can't wait to check it out again!

I have some here at work but it is hard to get in them to do "government" work, because they are always tied up with company stuff.
