Most guys that have used Zaino swear by it. I use Meguirs NXT. Its easy to use and gives great results. Either should bring that paint back to life.

Check out the car care section for tips

When people complain about Z, they are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
ALL of the work is in the prep.
It depends on what kind of time and effort you want to invest.
At the least, everyone should own a PC7424.
A rotary will accomplish amazing results in the right hands.
After a car is prepped, the application of several coats of either Z5P or Z2P is a piece of cake.
This pic would have looked better on a sunny day.

I agree that Zaino is easy once you prep the car. Then again, anything that is good takes a little time. As far as looking flat, doesn't describe just what the problem is. If your paint has oxydized & looks cloudy, no wax will fix that. If you have too many coats of wax on top of each other, the care needs stripped & a clay bar treatment. If it is just dull from not taking care of the finish, a buffer & polishing (no wax) compound will be needed. If the finish has swirls, scratches and pits, it will need to wet sanded & then buffed with a polisher & compound then hand polished. Again if you want it right, it will take a little work. Good luck.

The prep work is what makes it pay off. And come on, for a car the size of a vette it's not all that big of a deal.

Clay bar, polish then wax or seal. The Porter Cable does make it alot easier to get slight scratches and swirls out

Look over in the car care section, there are LOTS of threads and how to ideas.
