I've heard of it happening (happened to a friend, in fact) but today I was going to lower the passenger side window and it wouldn't budge. I could hear a light click when I pressed the button, but no movement. At least it's stuck in the "up" position ... I may not have it fixed since it's down rarely anyway. Might look a little strange with the top off though.

This is common with C5s...It can be several things...but Ive most often found it's the power window motor...Does it matter which window switch you use (driver or passenger)??
I had the exact same thing happen to me last week. The solution? Pretty high tech. Open the passenger door. Jump into the passenger seat. Make sure the key is on. (Time for some very precise tuning) While pressing the window switch up/down, beat the crap out of the lower center of the door. Keep on pounding it. It took about 30 seconds for mine. Eventually the motor will shake free and lower the window. The Corvette Forum saved me a bunch of time and money with this trick. Hope it works!

Sticky relays but this may only be a temporary fix
