go with a Vertical Doors Inc kit. they are the best out there, LSD got a patent from them...cant go wrong with them..i currently have a c6 kit for sale, but try www.lamboverticaldoors.com they are a vertical doors inc dealer, you can get an authentic vertical doors inc kit for the same price of the cheap chinese crappy kit.

they actually do make a kit that goes 90* for a c5. moltenvette has them, i'm too lazy to search for and post his pics though.

GT Factory is the company that makes the 90 degree kit. LSD along with GT Factory are the best kits available. Vertical doors can't compare to LSD. Do the research. I have heard nothing but terrible things about them, poor customer service, poor product. I have called them several times and they were rude and short with me. I won't do business with people like that. They might be better than the all the other no name kits, but they are not LSD OR GT Factory. jmo. Everyone has their opinion, but you must do your homework and you will find a kit for you. LSD has all the positive remarks at this point. That is for a reason.

yea they are a universal kit. they have pics of a MY C5 and a red C6 with their kit on their site. My friend has it on his c5 and since 2003 he hasn't had any issues. but I remember seeing the GT kit seeling for 900 bucks a while back and even at 700. This was during 2007 so just keep looking around. From what I've read and know, usualy you'll be paying more for the instalation than the price of the kit. Best of luck. BTW the hinges are painted a primer brown because we were going to paint them black

yea they have probably been around for a minute, their kits are probably better than VDI kits i dont know, but i have heard that LSD bought the patent from VDI...just like spinning wheels, davin owns the patent but dub bought it from davin and is now overall a better wheel company than davin..

yea kinda sucks to ask for advice and info to only end up with negetive opinions but as for my opinion haha its all up to you and how well your mechanical experince is because there is going to be welding invovled with the GT Factory hinges and some cuting. but noting noticble. hope this helps
