Sell your Vette and buy one with that has already been modded with Lambo doors. It's a win win for you. Your current Vette will sell for more than the Lamboized replacement plus you won't have to buy the hinge kit!
I know everybody has opinions on liking or disliking lambo doors. That was not my question. My question has anyone bought a kit from lambofever.com or ebay?
LSD would be the ONLY kit I would go with if I were to ever decide that they were needed. seen lots of installs and thats the best on out there for vettes.
I have read other posts & everyone says the LSD doors are the best, but 2500 is a little steep. The kit i have been looking at is 900. What could be so different in the construction of these hinges that would justify the difference in cost?

Sorry for being a wise a$$, but all kidding aside my comment might actually not be all that crazy. Good luck.
the lsd doors can open regular or lambo like and from what i hear they fit the vette exactly where other kits require a lot of body work to make the hinges work. a lot of people are scared to do it because you have to cut the body somewhat.
Hello I have put lambo doors on my 00 and before that on my 96. My 00 was ordered through my sponsor but I bought the 96 hinges from a seller on ebay. He uses my car in his add, currently I think he only sells hinges for c-3 and c-4 but he knows a good seller of c-5 hinges. The hinges on my C-4 were very different but worked extremly well. Try a search and contact him hes a very nice guy but I cant remember who he reccomends as a c-5 lambo door seller. For shows you cant beat LD`s and kids of all ages love em.
These are the C-4 style hinges from dream car customs on fleabay. They are the only ones I could find that fit without cutting or altering the vehicle. They also used 2 shocks instead of 1 and were around $800. I wish I could have found this stlye for my C-5.

You get what you pay for. I have installed them from 500.00 kits all the way to LSD kits. I have been a dealer for LSD now for the past two years and haven't had any problems at all with the LSD kits. The cheaper kits don't fit good. The doors don't line up good and when they are up they wobble bad. With the cheap kits it is very hard to shut the door and get it to line up and you will beat the hell out of the door itself. You will have to cut your fenders and trim the inside of the doors with all kits on a C5. But when done right you will never no. You can change it back to stock with no problems.

you could ask them anything and they could tell you anything, the best bet is to see sets for yourself to decide. I have seen the Chaser door kits installed on many cars and the doors wobble and its easy to close them wrong and chip paint. the lsd's have a guide hole that only lets the door close one way every time.
