I still think so back at ya. They seem to function like the aluminum pucks I got for my CORVETTE
The BMW pucks stay in place permanently. They simply snap into place. They're lightweight nylon material. They're low profile.
Your aluminum pucks only work if you remember where you put them, remember to take them with you, remember to take them out, weight a lot more, take up space in your car and cause more potential damage to your car and/or someone behind you if you forget to remove them and they fall out while going down the road...

Anyone know where to buy them? I've search but not sure where people are getting them from. :o
Just saw a post on this so i ordered them right up ,They came today ,I went out and they popped right in ,simple as that ,always there no fuss no muss. You can get them from Bavarian Autosport.
wwwBavAuto.com they are located in ,Portsmouth ,NH 03801 The part number you need is 51 71 1 960752, check them out on the website, enter 1998 325 I think will do it for ya . Thanks to whoever posted the suggestion it saved me some bucks ,hope it helps you out also..
I bought mine online from Bavarian Autosport. Here's there website. http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp The part number is 51 71 1 960 752, I think they're $6.95 a piece. I bought 4 of them, put them in and just leave them in. They have been in there for over 3 years.
I just went to the website and you have to enter a year and model so I entered an 02 and a 325i
since these pucks snap into place, how do you remove them if you need to?
and they're really only 1/2" thick? that sounds pretty good!
They are a pressure fit, but can be popped off with a screw driver.
So low profile you really can't see them from a side view unless you look hard.
Nice pucks
that's another good call. since they're in stock locally i'll go there.
what did you ask for at the parts counter, just jacking pucks?
I just took the part No. 51 71 1 960 752 down to my local BMW dealer and said give me four of em. I paid more than the online price but had them in my hand immediately. They just snap in - I usually leave mine in all the time.
