C5 Headlight "shake"
I received excellent replys to a question I recently posted related to my 2003 with 25K miles
...I thought i'd see if i can get information on one more issue...
..the right headlight has a slight vertical "shake"....the motor/gearbox is tight...i replaced the linkage (arm) between the gearbox and the the removable pin on the underside of the light with a used one that felt tight
....it helped...
....but, it still has an annoying slight shake when i drive over an irregular surface....the L-side light is tight...
it appears the portion of the headlight assy that pivots up and down has developed some minor wear ar the other attach fasteners...
question is...is it common for C5 headlights to have a little shake in them?....if it is not unusual....i'll drive on and ignore it....if it is..
...i'll take the hit and buy a new headlight assy and replace the whole thing...once again..if you can offer information it will be appreciated...
....thank you...Mike

You can replace the silver lifting rod with a metric bolt and nuts which will fit a bit tighter and lessen the shake
Search posts by jdmvette he has a zip tie fix that worked for him

Check and make sure that the bulb is properly seated in the housing and that it is tight.
Had a guy following me on a cruise and his right Low beam was shaking. We stopped to eat and sure enough the buld was not tightly seated in the housing.
Good luck!
