Just went through this. As time went on, it happened more frequently. Turn the key, nothing. No codes were thrown showing the resistor was at fault. I changed the clutch switch, theft relay, ignition switch and did the vats bypass. All this I did myself and spent under $100. Only thing left is the starter, and if it happens again, I'll have the starter replaced. I have removed the vats and did the column lock bypass, which cost $50. Some may say the car is easier to steal, but I'll take that chance for the peace of mind of not being stuck by these two weak-*** attempts at theft protection!
