Default Body Contoured Splash Guards

Does anybody have pics of their car with the body contoured splash guards that Ecklers and others sell for the C5's? I would especially like to see them on a torch red car.
The kind I am talking about are available in (unfinished) black or can be ordered already painted to match the factory colors.
Thanks in advance!

they tend to take a beating which i believe is why they are left black on the c6 z06 and c6 zr1.

i've seen c6z06 guards painted and i'm not sure if i like them that way or not.

I like the black ones best as they seem to blend in with the tire better. I would put them on again. They have saved the bottom rocker panel area.

Default Altec Splash Guards ?

Are talking the Altec Spalsh Guards?[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG] I think they stick to far out of the contour at the top . I'm in the process of trimming a set to fit better.

This is the other option. These are the adapted C6 splash guards but its a fiddly mod to make them fit

I have/had the Altec's on my C5. The front ones hang down too far and will drag over speed bumps etc.. Wasn't long before the front ones were cracked and broken so I took them off before I damaged my fenders. The rear ones are fine.

I have the Altec Engineering units frt and rear on my Mag Red 00.

1. Color match was very good. Install was a snap.
2. They will drag ON ANYTHING. I must be very careful with ramps,
curbs and the dreaded speed bumps.
3. They do a good job of protecting the lower rocker pnls and do
look good.
4. Along with my HiPo hood seal and the turbo simulator the add
50 rwhp to the car

All in all I think they have been a good add on, but can be a PITA
sometimes.

I have a brand new set from mid america in torch red, given to me by a fellow vette owner, After trying to fit them to my FRC I gave up. The fit is very poor and not up my standards
