I have a 2001 C5 convertable and I was curious if a hard top was available for the colder, wetter months in Washington. If so, how much do they cost and can I install one myself?
The Caravaggio top requires you to attach two brackets where the seatbelt loops are, and these mate up to latches (same type used to attach the convertible top to the windshield) that secure the rear of the hardtop.
To best of my knowledge, it hides out in trunk. I know of a used one for sale here in York, PA right now. Painted some type of grey or silver.
asking $2,900. Not mine but a member of our club which I will be seeing tonight.

Hmmm I'm in Harrisburg. I might be interested in that. Can you please send the details and possibly pictures to: hayman@paonline.com?
Do you remove the convertable top or does it just hide out in the trunk?
Yes, you just fold the Vert top down. The hard top attatches with the same type of fasteners in the front as stock. On the lower rear sides it attatched with its own brackets and hold down hooks.
