Cam Help Please!
HEY VET BUDDIES I HAVE A QUESTION AND WONDERING CAN I GET SOME HELP. WELL MY VET HAS ABOUT 98K MILES AUTOMATIC 315 REAR END AND SOME MORE UPGRADES.BUT ANYWAY I NEED TO KNOW WHAT CAM SHOULD I PUT IN THERE TO A PIONT FOR A EVERYDAY RIDE, AND WEEKEND WARRIOR. TO WHERE I DON'T NEED NEW SPRINGS. JUST STICK WITH MY STOCK ONES.I WAS THINKING THE C5 ZO6 CAM.THANKS FOR HELP.

You could go with the Z06 cam and not swap the springs... but why waste the money? Do it right the first time and get the cam you want with all the supporting mods and get t over with.

You'll need to change springs even for the stock Z cam.
For all the labor and cost involved in a cam swap...the thought of skimping on springs is ridiculous, especially considering the damage potential if they were to fail.
If you can't consider swapping valve springs, don't worry about a cam swap, you're not ready.

YOU ARE SO REAL MAN. BUT I ALSO WAS TOLD THAT THE PUSH RODS TOO NEED TO BE CHANGE.
