Hello everyone. I have a 02Z with headers/cam/cai/stock heads and intake manifold. Car put down 413/389. Friend of mine called and said he just bought a set of truck 6.0L heads and would I be interested in porting and milling these heads down to 11.0:1 compression and installing on my car. Are these heads any better than the LS6 heads? I'am told they are the same except of the valves and combustion chamber shape. Would I better off porting and milling my own LS6
heads instead? Thanks for the help!

There is the BIG difference
Stick with what you have. and have a professional port and polish your heads. Not all P & P are give the same results

If you were going to forced induction, the truck heads would work for you. If you're staying NA - stick with what you have (or get some AFR or TFS heads)
