As the title states...NEW version only.

The MTI hasn't been discussed for a long time...not since the C6/Z06 and now the MGW shifters are so popular.
You might do a search this forum (in the red banner) in C5 Tech and use keywords of "MTI shifter" or similar and see if you find some past discussions.
As far as "...legitimate, objective opinions"...the past discussions might lean more towards the subjective opinions side...
