Default What I like...

I've had my 02 Z06 for almost 2 weeks now and am still in awe over the raw power. I haven't raced anybody (in fact I like what I read on here somewhere about not having to race, because they KNOW you can beat them) and have yet been able to find a nice place to let it get up some speed, but this car is amazing even in normal daily driving.

My favorite part is just simply passing someone, anyone. Last night on the freeway I was in a group of cars that decided it was cool only going 55 when the speed limit is 65. I'm going 55 in the middle of the group when an opening appeared for me to get out. I put it in third and nailed it. I shifted from 3rd to sixth, looked at my HUD and it read 98mph as I was slowing back down. I swear it was no more than a few seconds that I romped on it. Just amazing seeing the group of cars waaaaayy behind me after such a short burst.

I LOVE IT!!

Third gear is amazing, but be careful out there (especially in the rain). You don't want to buy a Corvette, then lose your license.

Wait till you get the feel of it, and kick it down hard in frist and hit second into third all I can say is hold on and leave the A.H. on.. It get's to the rev limiter in a hurry so be carefull..

I know what you mean. I've had my 04 Z06 for 5 months now and can't seem to get enough of it. Like you said, raw power and plenty of respect from the other cars.

I still get the "wet spot" when I have a "spirited" ride....
