Default Best CatBack w/LTs????

I just installed LG Street LTs and I currently have a Corsa Indy catback. It sounds good but a bit raspy maybe. Im not too worried about it being loud (good thing!), but I wouldnt mind a more throaty/less raspy catback. Any suggestions???????

Is it a daily driver or weekend? Do you have a partition?

If you don't care at all about Drone or daily noise levels get B&B Bullets or a borlas. They are by far the loudest and meatiest.

However, If you care about drone and your head exploding but you still want a Really loud and throaty 60's sound ....go GHL. I went GHL's cause its a daily driver.

that pretty much sums it up in my opinion.

You didn't mention if you have cats or not...that's a huge difference.

No, I dont have cats. I dont mind the sound inside, I just want a quality sound. In my opinion, the Corsa is a great sounding exhaust, but not with LTs and no cats. Will bullets be extremely loud with no cats and LTs? Im not familiar with GHL. Any info?

here's a good comparison on the GHL's

another few clips on CCA's site.

I can't really speak on the B&B bullets. Haven't been in a car with them.

B@B PRT are not as load and with a little less drone. Sound great under wide open throttle!

I liked the PRT's, but after adding LT's no cats I did'nt. Sounded good at idle, but raspy at WOT.
I heard the B&B Bullets on a 03 z with H/C LT's, cats, sounded great, perfect IMO, but you will get attention from everyone within a 5 mile radius. It was not raspy at all, just plain mean.

I have had a Magnaflow cat back which I always liked the deep muscle car sound. With the stock manifolds the volume was fairly mellow, but deep. I just installed the LG Streets with cats. The system now sounds terrific, same deep bass but now louder and more powerful at idle and awesome at full throttle. Weird thing though is it's now quieter at cruise, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Great combo!

Bullets - the first few times you drive it it will be damn loud, but you'll get used to it and then won't be able to imagine it being any quieter. Infact, you'll want it even louder!

So you guys think that with my LTs and no cats the BB bullets will sound great? My corsa sounds like the description above about the PRT system, loud but good, but sometimes quite raspy.
The Corsa system now is still ridiculously loud at WOT, so Im not sure if the BB will even be any worse. Loud is good as long as it sounds good!

Any other thoughts, what do you think about the Corsa sound with LTs and no cats?

I have the LG LTs with no cats and Corsa Pace car catback. Im fine with how loud it is, but the wawawawawa its make during sweeps through the RPM range reminds me of an 1985 chevy truck with cherry bombs. I like loud, but what catback will give me GOOD loud?

This is my third C5 and 2nd Z06. I've had the BB bullets and to me there is nothing that sounds nearly as good as the Borla Stingers. My last Z was H/C/I with no cats and the stingers. Heres A lil clip

When I went from Magnaflows/no cats, H/C, etc., to Corsa Pace, it was too loud. I added HF cats, and it's still real loud, but great! The Corsa's are a much higher pitch than Magnaflow, but they are both louder, and have less resonance, too. The reason I went with the Corsa, is the two giant oval tips, that I think perfectly accent the rear. However, the high pitched exhaust takes a little getting used to. Not bad if you have the x-pipe to reduce popping.

Borla Stingers sound amazing and look killer with the Oval tips.

So from what you guys are saying, Im leaning towards keeping the O/R X-pipe but getting rid of the Corsa Indy system and getting the GHL or Borla stingers.

Both of those systems will give a deeper tone. You will increase your resonance, though, maybe not as much with the GHL. Like I said, I just cut down the wail by adding cats, and got used to the higher pitch sound of Corsa. I kind of felt like a douchebag anyway for going without cats.
