cd player reading error only? help

cd player reading error only? help
the cd player is stock... up until about a 2 weeks ago i didnt have a problem. now any cd that i put in it wont play(regular or burned) and just reads Err. any1 else know of this

Give the player time to cycle through all 12 cds before turning the car on. (You can hear it doing this after closing the changer's door.) After it does this it should work fine for you. If not, check to make sure the cds are in facing the right way and the cover is completely closed. Hope that works for you!

My Bose/Delco cd player (in the radio) would play some cd's, sometimes - but it messed up so much it drove me to replace it.
My replacement choice wasn't so good - Jensen VM8012 - but at least it plays MP3's ok (long story - see my thread in audio).
