What oil pressure?

I have a stupid question...what is the normal for oil pressure? My DIC says 130, but the gauge only goes to 80 psi. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

No it's not normal. You probably need a new oil pressure sending unit. Pretty common problem.

It's driveable, won't hurt a thing. But, you need to get it fixed so you can keep an eye on the beast!

I can't add anything to the previous posts. But I will say that when it comes to oil, or more specifically oil pressure, there are no "stupid questions".
