Corvette letter inserts, which color?
I'm looking at getting inserts for the front and rear, just not sure which to go with. I have a torch red Z, I know that the polished letters would look good but I also think the white would look good as well. Any one have pics of white on torch red, I've seen the polished on one before.

After some more looking I think black might look good if I got some tail light covers. What is the best tail light covers. I've seen some smoked covers that are just a stick on overlay, those any good or should I go with plastic?

Go with polished....
(Unless you plan to do a "black theme" -taillights, backup lights, etc.)

I got mine from RPI Designs... mirror finish in acrylic. Am I happy with them? Yes, they do protrude past the openings, but they were dirt cheap. I also just got my exhaust plate from them the other day. So for $60, RPI designs tricked out the back of my car making it look 10x better. I still need to put on my front letters.

I'd say SS Inserts. Good contrast on a red car

SS would be my first vote by a long shot.
I don't think I've ever seen white. I wonder why?

Polished stainless, looks great and easy to clean.
This is what the red gel letters looked like before I went with the above one...

My vote goes for black with darkened tail light lenses. If you stay with stock lenses then I vote for SS.

Either chrome or black would look good on the car.
