Have had my Granatelli on for about a month now and love the sound. The clamps are crap but if you buy 6 stainless flat & split lock washers they'll do. Two complaints: (1) The tips don't line up quite right. I've fiddled around with mine every week and finally got them to where they're horizontally straight but the left side sticks out about 1/2" further than the right. Did my own install using ramps. With my trusty Dremmel I had to cut the stock system just behind the rear axle to get it out. It took about 3 blades but went smoothly. (2) The left muffler is cocked at a different angle than the right one. Again, I've messed with it several times and got it pretty even with the right one. If you want pics' I can email them to you.
Granatelli is great on sound, poor on fit and finish. My left side tips are off and can't be adjusted right because when the tab was welded on to hold the tips even it wasn't done right at the factory apparently. So even if I get the left and right sides at the same height (getting them to stay is another issue with the ****ty clamps) the left side is still just a tiny hair "off".
Most probably wouldn't notice it but I do. Sound wise they are awesome. But when the funds allow I'll replace them with Bullets or GHL's probably.
the poor fit is because they are made in the great country of CHINA!!!!!

I've noticed the exact same thing with mine. I guess you get what you pay for. I wish I'd have just spent the extra couple hundred dollars and got a good system.
We have Borla straight....it actually wasn't as loud as I thought. I really like the sound of it! Plus, my husband and his friend put it on and there was no welding required.
Went with Borla Stinger myself. Love the two large tips vs. the four tip. Also installed a performance X-pipe at the same time. Love the way it backs off when you reduce gears and let up on it. But not real noisy at cruising speeds. Good luck.
I just installed GHL Magnums and of all the research that went into this purchase (Many Hours) when the car fired up for the first time I was most satisfied. Truly the old muscle sound at the perfect volume (for me) without the drone you hear so much about. The guys at GHL motorsports (Brian & Jeff) were a real pleasure to deal with, I'm very nervous on these type purchases and they really went out of their way to get me what I wanted. 10+ on the entire start to finish deal.

I have had the granatelli system on for about 4 months now and I have no complaints, not even with the alignment. Line up the mufflers first and then work on the tips. I got mine from nxtsteperformance on "that auction site" for $500 shipped to my house. The car now has !mudflaps, letter inserts, and an exhaust plate so please don't comment on that.
I will be adding SSAC headers and a custom mid pipe this week or the next, and I will make sure to catch a video or two of how it sounds. Hope this helps.
