Default Ordered new rims

I got these new rims for my 98 C5 vert.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=002

I was wondering if i could put some 295/35/18s in the back with 275/35/18 in the back and i was going to lower it on the stock bolts, do you guys think this will work out? thanks a lot

I'm not trying to rain on your parade but if you don't have smaller diameter wheels on the front than you have on the back I think you will have problems with the active handling, and the offset for the rear wheels is wrong, because of this to keep them from rubbing you will probably have to use a spacer on the rear, and this might push your wheel outside the fenders.

Also don't know if you should put a 295 tire on a 9.5" rim?

I have 275/35x18X9.5 front & 295/35x18x9.5 rear with no issues at all. Y2K aftermarket wheels. With that being said, I do not know my off-sets in the front or rear.

Maybe you should post a thread in the Tech section about running the same size wheel and tires front and rear. Read this thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...els+front+rear

Yes. I'm not an expert, but I believe the difference between the 295 and the 275 is enough to not get any code associated with the traction control.

I also noticed the seller says the rims will fit a C5 and a C6 is that possible or are they not interchangeable, or does it have to do with the offset?
