A4 rolling acceleration question

The downshift is controlled by a few things. The speed and RPM and the newly selected throttle position. I had all of my upshift points raised in the RPM range and the downshifts points lowered on the RPM range. Now, even "medium" increases on the loud pedal will cause a downshift and she (the car 
) starts screaming.

Changing shift points wont hurt MPG, unless you USE it to the Max all the time. Meaning, unless you wana floor it all the time, or want fast pick ups most of the time. Other than that, the car will drive normally.
How to figure out the shift points? Well there are many guys on the forum who can send you their shift points info, you can just copy that. I have one too, but my laptop is down these days

I guess part of the time the A4 is downshifting all the way to first... and other times it only drops down to second.
